Job summary

The Learning Experience Corp. in Mesa, AZ is seeking an Assistant Teacher to support classrooms and partner with lead teachers to create a nurturing, engaging environment for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers.

Responsibilities include implementing the L.E.A.P. Curriculum, maintaining safety, communicating with families, and collaborating with center staff to drive enrollment and retention, while upholding a caring, developmental approach.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• ECE coursework preferred.
• Experience in childcare preferred.

Responsibilities

• Classroom Leadership: partner with teachers to create a stimulating, welcoming space for children.
• Curriculum Implementation: support teachers with our L.E.A.P. Curriculum, adapting to infants, toddlers, and/or preschoolers.
• Safety First: maintain a safe, nurturing environment for all children.
• Family Communication: update parents on child progress via apps and in-person discussions.
• Center Collaboration: work with staff to drive retention, enrollment, and engagement goals.
• Relationship Builder: foster warm relationships with families and colleagues.
