Child Development Schools is seeking an Assistant Teacher in New Bern, North Carolina. You will assist the Lead Teacher in delivering engaging early childhood activities, maintaining a safe classroom, and supporting families daily. This role fosters curiosity, kindness, and growth in young learners.

You will collaborate with a supportive team, participate in ongoing professional development, and contribute to a nurturing environment that welcomes diverse families and promotes high-quality care.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Pass background check.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships with families.
• Genuine care for children and commitment to their safety and well-being.

Responsabilidades

• Assist Lead Teacher in delivering age-appropriate lessons and activities.
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom meeting licensing and ratio requirements.
• Engage directly with children during activities, meals, transitions, and outdoor time.
• Observe children and share developmental notes with the Lead Teacher.
• Build relationships with families through daily communication.
• Assist with classroom documentation including attendance and daily reports.
