Job summary

The Malvern School of Marlboro is seeking an Assistant Teacher for the classroom. This is a full-time position, Monday - Friday, in Marlboro, New Jersey.

You will assist in delivering a high-quality Early Childhood Education program, maintain a safe and engaging classroom, and communicate regularly with parents using in-person and digital tools. The role includes benefits and ongoing professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and be at least 18 years of age
• At least 2500 hours (1 year, 4 months) months of documented experience with young children in a licensed facility OR 15 relevant college credits (or CDA) and at least 1250 hours (8 months) documented experience with young children in a licensed facility

Responsibilities

• Teacher assists in the implementation of a superior Early Childhood Education program in accordance with school policies and Malvern School philosophy.
• Teacher maintains a safe, healthy and educational environment for the class.
• Teacher communicates regularly with parents, in person and through the use of technology, meeting (or exceeding) parent expectations.
