Job summary

Bakerripley in Houston, TX seeks an Assistant Teacher to support classroom learning and family engagement under the guidance of the classroom teacher. You will help develop and implement lesson activities aligned with the cultural background of children and families served, and assist with records and progress in the GOLD system.

Your role includes maintaining a clean, safe classroom, following education policies, supporting CACFP documentation, completing home visits as requested, and stepping

Qualifications

• CDA credential or active enrollment in CDA program with a 1-year completion 목표.
• Associate or Bachelor's degree with ECE coursework (18 hours) required or in progress.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English; bilingual preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing learning materials and activities aligned with cultural backgrounds.
• Provide instructional services under teacher guidance.
• Document progress in GOLD and maintain student records.
• Maintain clean, orderly classroom and follow safety/policy procedures.
• Assist with CACFP documentation and home visits as required.
• Step in as lead in the teacher's absence and support behavior management.
