Centro de la Familia invites applications for a Teacher Assistant to support early childhood education for infants and toddlers under the guidance of the Lead Teacher and Education Specialist.

The ideal candidate will hold a Preschool CDA or an associate/bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or related field, and have CPR, First Aid, and Food Handler permits. Bilingual Spanish and English is preferred, with a willingness to work with children with diverse needs.

Qualifications

• Preschool CDA required or plan to earn within six months.
• Current CPR, First Aid, and Food Handler’s permits.
• Willingness to work with children with special needs and limited English skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer a developmentally appropriate early childhood program.
• Meet the needs of infants and toddlers individually and holistically.
• Collaborate with families to involve them in planning and execution of education.
