Job summary

Seeds to Seedlings is seeking an Assistant Educator in Minnesota to support the Lead Educator in creating a nurturing, inclusive, and engaging early learning environment. You will help implement play-based activities that align with state standards, supervise children, and monitor progress with guidance from the Lead Educator and Director.

The role emphasizes collaboration, communication with families, and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of early childhood development principles and best practices.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Willingness to undergo background checks and meet state licensing requirements.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Support Lead Educator in implementing age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with Minnesota standards.
• Supervise children and promote safety and engagement in daily activities.
• Help maintain an organized, clean, and safe classroom; assist with routines.
