Job summary

Learning Care is seeking an Assistant Director in Colorado to help oversee daily operations with the School Director. You will ensure safety, quality programming, and a supportive environment for children and families.

In the Director's absence you will have sole responsibility, and you will promote social, physical, and intellectual growth while recruiting and retaining a high-caliber staff. This role emphasizes leadership and commitment to program excellence.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have previous leadership experience and at least 1 year of experience working in a licensed childcare facility.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must meet state requirements for education and our center/school requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the safe, effective operation of the school with the School Director.
• In the Director's absence, assume sole responsibility for the school.
• Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children.
• Recruit, select, and retain quality staff.
