Job summary

Learning Care is hiring an Assistant Director to oversee the safe, effective operation of the school alongside the School Director. You’ll help promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of children while ensuring compliance with company and licensing standards.

We seek a dedicated leader with prior supervisory experience in licensed childcare, ready to recruit and retain qualified staff, provide a positive, forgiving workplace, and support families with a high-quality early education

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have previous leadership experience and at least 1 year of experience working in a licensed childcare facility.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must meet state requirements for education and our center/school requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safe, effective operation of the school with the School Director.
• Promote social, physical, and intellectual growth of children.
• Recruit, select, and retain quality staff.
• Foster a positive, caring, and safe environment for children and parents.
