Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Complete requirements for Center-Based CDA or Infant/Toddler CDA within six months of hire.
• CPR/First Aid Certification (or within 30 days of hire) maintained throughout employment.
• Experience in Early Childhood Education or Head Start/Early Head Start programs.
• Bilingual Spanish/English speaking is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support and individualize development of each child in the classroom.
• Work with co-teacher to maintain a safe, clean, and healthy environment.
• Travel locally as required in the performance of responsibilities.
• Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and certification courses.
• Assist with implementation of HS/EHS curriculum and assessments.
• Build relationships with children and families to promote safety and attachment.
