Sunbeam Family Services in Oklahoma City, OK is seeking an Assistant Teacher Trainee (ATT) for an accelerated training program leading to an Infant/Toddler CDA® credential. The role supports HS/EHS classrooms, building relationships with children, families, and staff.

Required is a High School diploma or GED, with 6 months of center-based ECE experience and completion of CDA® within 90 days. CPR/First Aid is also required, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Completion of Infant/Toddler CDA® within 90 days of hire.
• CPR/First Aid Certification within 30 days of hire.
• Experience in Head Start/Early Head Start settings preferred.
• 6 months’ center-based experience in early childhood education (within 3 years).
• Knowledge of state/local childcare licensing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Complete the Infant/Toddler CDA® within 90 days of hire.
• Support each child's physical, social-emotional, and cognitive development.
• Provide developmentally sensitive, trauma-informed services.
• Maintain safe, clean, and healthy classroom environments.
• Observe children for health indicators and report findings to supervisor.
