Subject Specialists – Early Childhood and Primary Education

Position Overview:

The American Baccalaureate School (ABS) in Kuwait is seeking enthusiastic and skilled Subject Specialists to join our Early Education team. We currently have openings for Kindergarten and Elementary English Teachers as well as a Music Teacher. Ideal candidates will bring creativity, energy, and a passion for working with young learners, helping to lay the foundation for lifelong learning.

Available Positions:

• Elementary English Teacher
• Music Teacher (Early Years and Elementary)

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, age-appropriate instruction in the assigned subject area.
• Foster a nurturing and inclusive learning environment that supports academic, social, and emotional growth.
• Use a variety of teaching strategies and resources to support diverse learning styles.
• Encourage creativity, curiosity, and a love of learning.
• Assess student progress and provide timely, constructive feedback.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Participate in school events, professional development, and collaborative planning.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in the relevant subject area or in Education (Early Childhood, Elementary, or Music Education).
• Teaching license preferred.
• Relevant teaching experience preferred.
• Experience in international, American-curriculum, or private school settings is valued.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive and engaging classroom environment.
