Job summary

SEK-CAP, Inc. seeks a Teacher Aide to partner with classroom staff in delivering high-quality early childhood education and ensuring consistent supervision of infants and toddlers.

You will help create a safe, engaging environment where children explore, play, and learn while supporting social-emotional development and daily routines. The role involves implementing curriculum, modeling expectations, and assisting across multiple classrooms as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Enrollment in a program leading to a degree in Early Childhood Education or related field is preferred.
• State or CDA credentials for Infant/Toddler are acceptable with 1 year to obtain.
• First Aid and CPR certification are required.
• Submit to background check.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and meet agency insurance guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Engage with children to support language development and growth.
• Assist in implementing curriculum and social-emotional strategies.
• Supervise children across classrooms and during routines.
• Document observations in the data system.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and engaging learning environment.
