About This Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childcare Teacher to join our team in Rome, GA. In this role, you will create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where young children can grow, learn, and thrive. You will design and implement age-appropriate curricula, foster social and emotional development, and build strong partnerships with families in our community.

What You'll Do

• Lead daily classroom activities and implement engaging, play-based lesson plans that support early childhood development.
• Provide a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment that meets all state licensing and safety regulations.
• Monitor and assess each child's progress, keeping detailed records of milestones, behavior, and social interactions.
• Maintain open, positive communication with parents and guardians through daily updates, conferences, and progress reports.
• Foster a supportive classroom culture that encourages sharing, empathy, and positive behavior management.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent certification.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience working with young children in a licensed childcare facility or preschool setting.
• Ability to pass a comprehensive federal and state background check, including fingerprinting required by Georgia DECAL.
• Current CPR and First Aid certifications, or willingness to obtain them within 30 days of hire.
• Excellent communication, patience, and interpersonal skills to effectively connect with children, staff, and parents.

Nice To Haves

• Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or an Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education.
• Familiarity with Georgia Bright from the Start (DECAL) regulations and Quality Rated standards.
• Previous experience utilizing childcare management software or digital parent-communication applications.
