Job summary

Southland Industries is seeking an Associate, Talent Acquisition Partner for Early Careers to support ATX, SATX, and HOU divisions. You will partner with hiring managers and HR Business Partners to attract interns and new graduates, coordinating campus activities and interview events, and guiding candidates through the process.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of recruiting or talent acquisition experience.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Exposure to campus recruiting, internship programs, or high-volume interview events is a strong plus.
• Industry experience in engineering, construction, or the skilled trades is a plus but not required; interest in learning our business is essential.
• Authentic interest in developing early-career talent with patience and approachability.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented; able to manage multiple timelines, events, and logistics.
• Strong communicator credible with senior leaders and approachable to students.
• Self-directed and accountable within an enterprise structure.
• Proficiency with ATS/CRM platforms, Microsoft Office, and virtual event tools.
• Ability to travel to campuses, jobsites, and division offices during peak recruiting seasons.

Responsibilities

• Lead the recruiting process for intern, co-op, and new college graduate roles across divisions — events, interview coordination, selection support, offer, and onboarding.
• Sustain pipeline continuity year-round and engage candidates between touchpoints.
• Maintain requisitions, candidate records, and pipeline activity in ATS/CRM.
• Deliver a candidate experience reflecting Southland's culture—responsive and transparent.
