Fehr & Peers is hiring an entry-level Transportation Engineer/Planner in Denver. You will build a professional foundation under experienced staff, applying standard techniques and growing your skills through diverse transportation planning, engineering, and design projects.

You’ll engage in analysis, reporting, and public outreach, with opportunities to develop proficiency across GIS, CAD, HCS, Synchro, VISSIM, and travel-demand modeling tools while advancing within a collaborative,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or in-progress master’s in transportation, civil or related field.
• EIT preferred for engineering candidates.
• Experience or exposure to transportation planning topics and tools.
• Exposure to GIS, CAD, and traffic operations analysis software.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to write technical memos and reports.
• Collaborative, proactive, and curious about transportation challenges.

Responsibilities

• Conduct transportation analysis and prepare reports, memos, and other deliverables.
• Participate in meetings, including presentations and public outreach materials.
• Support project coordination and management activities.
• Engage with professional organizations and industry activities.
• Conduct site visits and collect field data.
• Explore opportunities to contribute to Fehr & Peers internal R&D program.
• Learn and adopt new tools and technologies while maintaining accountability.
