Job summary

HRG in State College, PA is seeking 2027 Civil Engineering graduates for early career staff engineer roles. You will work on transportation, municipal and water resources projects, supporting design/drafting and field observations.

Ideal candidates hold an ABET-accredited BS in Civil Engineering, with 0–2 years’ related experience and EIT preferred. Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and MS Office is a plus, with travel to project sites as needed.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited BS in Civil Engineering required or preferred.
• E.I.T. certification preferred.
• 0–2 years’ experience may include: subdivision, municipal engineering, stormwater, water distribution & treatment, wastewater collection, hydraulics, environmental assessment, traffic studies & signals.
• AutoCAD Civil 3D experience/knowledge is a plus.
• Previous internship with a consulting engineering firm preferred.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Working closely with Project Manager(s) and Project Engineer(s) in design/drafting capacity
• Performing basic calculations

• Preparing plans and profile drawings utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Reviewing project design manual(s) for specification requirements

We are seeking multiple Early Career Staff Engineers | Civil to join our dedicated team of professionals at our State College, PA office. You will focus onTransportation Engineering (Traffic, Highway & Bridge),Municipal & Water Resources,Water & Wastewater Engineering,or Land Development & Site Design. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
