Job description

We are actively seeking an EngineeringIntern | Civil in our State College, PAoffice. As an EngineeringIntern | Civil withHRG, you will gain hands-on experience supporting real-world engineering projects within a dedicated service group. This internship is designed to provide exposure to the engineering field, foster professional growth, and help you develop foundational skills for future career advancement. You will work closely with experienced team members, contribute to meaningful projects, and learn about engineering practices in areas such as municipal & water resources, site design, water & wastewater, or transportation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with basic tasks in the design and development of engineering projects under supervision
  • Gather and organize project data, including code requirements and industry standards
  • Support data collection, field inspections, and preparation of technical documentation
  • Use standard office and engineering software to support project activities
  • Ensure accuracy and quality in assigned tasks
  • Suggest ideas to improve project efficiency and organization
Requirements:
  • Currently pursuing a degree in engineering or a related field, preferred but not required

  • Flexibility to travel to job sites, meetings, and other offices as necessary, which may include overnight stays
  • Valid US Driver’s License is required
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
