Job summary

Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control is seeking an Early Career Quality Engineer to apply quality principles across design, material, production, and program performance. You will perform technical evaluations and collaborate with program management, engineering, and suppliers to ensure product quality and compliance with requirements.

The role requires knowledge of AS9100/ISO9001, MRB processes, and RFQ for make/buy components, with a focus on corrective actions and reliability

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in STEM or related field.
• Identify and document quality deficiencies and ensure effective corrective action.
• Capability to perform root cause analysis for complex problems.
• Experience with quality systems AS9100/ISO9001 and FAI per AS9102.
• Experience with control and disposition of non-conforming material (MRB).
• Understanding of engineering drawings requirements (mechanical and electrical).
• Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Apply quality principles across design, incoming material, production control, product evaluation, program performance, reliability, inventory control, and R&D as they apply to product/process quality.
• Perform technical evaluations of requirements, specs, designs, drawings and procedures.
• Collaborate with program management, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain and customers on quality issues.
• Lead root cause investigations and corrective/preventive actions.
• Develop strategies to improve internal and supplier performance and productivity.
