Job summary

One Medical is actively seeking dedicated primary care physicians soon after residency for our Chicago-area offices. You will work in a tech-enabled, patient-centered environment, building lasting relationships and delivering high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in, or recent graduate from, an accredited Family or Internal Medicine residency.
• Board-eligible or completed residency within the last year and taking next exam.
• Illinois license obtained before start date.

Responsibilities

• Manage a patient panel with acute, chronic and well visits.
• Treat patients in-office, testing centers, and via telehealth as needed.
• Engage in weekly Clinical Rounds and other learning modalities.
• Collaborate with in-office and virtual teams in daily huddles.
• Apply clinical training and perform in-office procedures when appropriate.
• Supervise NP/PA colleagues as assigned.

What You’ll Be Working On

• Managing a patient panel with a broad array of patient needs; conducting a mix of acute, chronic, and well visits
• Treating patients in‑office or in testing centers as well as conducting occasional tele‑health visits
• Continuous learning during weekly Clinical Rounds and through other modalities
• Ongoing collaboration with in‑office teammates via daily huddles, as well as with virtual clinical teams
• Utilization of your specific clinical training and opportunities to perform in‑office procedures
• Supervising one or more NP or PA colleagues

Education, Licenses, And Experiences Required For This Role

• Currently enrolled in, or completed within the last year, an accredited Family or Internal Medicine residency program
• Must presently be a Board Eligible Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Resident, or have completed a Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Residency Program within the last calendar year and scheduled to take the next available Board Exam
• State licensed in Illinois, obtained before your One Medical start date

This is a full‑time role based in one of our Chicago offices. During your interview process, we will determine the exact office location based on your preferences and business needs.

One Medical is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.

The base salary range for this role is $167,900.00 - $264,500.00 based on a full‑time schedule. Final determination of starting pay may vary based on factors such as practice experience and patient care schedule.
