Job summary

WSP is seeking an Early Career P&C Field Services Technician in Hallowell, ME. You will participate in due diligence, investigation, remediation, permitting, design, and construction for utility-scale projects.

You will assist in collecting data, preparing procurement packages, and supporting engineering design across substations and power systems. Under supervision you’ll develop electrical calculations, create documentation, and ensure compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Some post-education experience in field services, maintenance, or similar environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with collecting, compiling, and analyzing data for substation components and procurement packages.
• Assist with electrical design tasks including single line and three-line diagrams.
• Provide entry-level technical assistance on design requirements and cabling strategies.
• Verify site characteristics and provide basic technical assistance on procedures.
• Develop electrical calculations for loads and grounding.
• Generate documentation using electronic systems and field notes.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and project procedures.
• Complete training on assigned tasks.
• Follow the Code of Conduct and company policies.
