Job summary

WSP is seeking an Early Career Transmission Line Engineer in Lakewood, Colorado, to contribute to high voltage overhead line design under experienced mentors. You will assist with modeling, calculations, and plan development while gaining exposure to field coordination and project execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, civil, or structural engineering.
• 0–1 years of post-education experience.
• Strong research and analytical skills.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD or CAM design software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with design and analysis of high voltage overhead transmission lines.
• Prepare design calculations for structures, foundations, and line components.
• Support development of drawings, material lists, and construction packages.
• Participate in internal design reviews and field validations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor/learn.
