Job summary

Viasat is seeking a Network Engineer to deliver end-to-end infrastructure readiness for office buildouts, data centers, and sites. You will manage routing, switching, wireless, circuits, cabling, and vendor coordination to meet performance and security goals.

This is a site-based role with 60%+ on-site time in a standard five-day workweek, with relocation assistance and an Early Career Graduate Development Program for new graduates. Bachelor's degree required; 0–3 years experience preferred.

Qualifications

Completion of Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering or related field.
0–3 years of full-time, relevant industry experience.
U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end hardware procurement, inventory, configuration, and deployment for office buildouts and expansions.
Coordinate IT infrastructure with other business units for project phases (planning, scheduling, execution).
Oversee cabling vendors, low-voltage contractors, and ISPs to ensure timely delivery of services.
Implement and support network technologies including switching, routing, wireless, and firewalls.
Validate circuit delivery, test network performance, and readiness for production use.
Maintain network diagrams, IP schemas, and infrastructure standards.
Collaborate with network and cross-functional teams for cohesive project execution.
Troubleshoot complex network and infrastructure issues and provide ongoing operational support.
