Job summary

Anduril Industries in Costa Mesa, CA is seeking an engineer who is pursuing or has recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering to help design warheads and complex munitions systems, transitioning them from prototype to production. You will lead end-to-end arena and system testing, design experiments, capture data, and analyze results, while ensuring safety and compliance in all activities.

This full-time role starts in 2027 and requires a U.S.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently completed a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
• Must be a U.S. Person due to access to export-controlled information; clearance may be required depending on program.
• Able to start full time in 2027.

Responsibilities

• Design warheads and complex ordnance systems and transition them from prototype to production.
• Quickly create high fidelity prototype parts to assess effectiveness by testing on the range.
• Manage arena and system testing of munitions products from end-to-end, including project planning, design of experiments, and safety.
• Capture test video, compile data from ground and flight tests, and analyze results.
• Assemble/disassemble explosive test articles and precision targets.
