Job summary

Anduril Industries in Costa Mesa, CA is seeking a Mechanical/Aerospace engineering student or recent graduate to join the munitions systems team. You will design warheads and complex ordnance, rapidly develop high-fidelity prototype parts, and manage testing from planning through safety to production.

You will capture and analyze test data, assemble test articles, and coordinate projects across stages of development. U.S. Person status and 2027 start are required or preferred.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
• Experience with CAD tools and engineering documentation.
• Background in test data acquisition and analysis preferred.
• Exposure to munitions testing and explosive operations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design warheads and complex ordnance/munitions systems and transition from prototype to production.
• Create high fidelity prototype parts to assess effectiveness by testing on the range.
• Manage end-to-end testing of munitions products, including planning and safety.
• Capture test video, collect data from ground and flight tests, analyze results.
• Assemble/disassemble explosive test articles and precision targets.
