Job summary

Lockheed Martin Aeronautics in Palmdale, California is seeking a full-time Early Career Modeling and Simulation Engineer. You will work on the Military Operations Analysis team to conduct analyses of military utility, survivability, and system requirements using AFSIM (C-based) in a government framework.

The successful candidate will have experience with C++, MATLAB, Python, GitLab, and Linux environments, and must be a US citizen capable of obtaining a security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Math, Physics, or a related technical discipline
• Intermediate Scripting Proficiency (MATLAB, Python, or similar)

Responsibilities

• Analyze military utility, survivability, and system requirements on the Military Operations Analysis team.
• Learn and use the Advanced Framework for Simulation, Integration and Modeling (AFSIM) toolset for analyses.
