Job summary

Lightheart Mental Health in Renton, WA, part of Transformations Care Network, seeks an Associate Mental Health Therapist. You will provide outpatient individual and family therapy, with supervision and development opportunities as you progress toward licensure, in a supportive clinical and administrative team.

Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurses, dietitians, and therapists to deliver holistic care; maintain timely documentation, billing, and treatment plans; participate in case conferences

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant field and licensure progress encouraged.
• Committed to ongoing professional development and supervision.
• Ethical practice and confidentiality are essential.
• Strong communication and rapport-building with clients and families.
• Willingness to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct culturally sensitive, strength-based assessments for new clients and families.
• Provide outpatient individual and family therapy tailored to each client.
• Develop crisis, safety, relapse prevention, and wellness plans.
• Participate in case consultations, agency meetings, and discharge planning.
• Ensure timely billing, documentation, and treatment plans; manage insurance forms.
• Coordinate care with psychiatrists, nurses, and other therapists for holistic care.

Education

Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or related field
