Job summary

Framatome North America is seeking an engineering professional to perform standard assignments across design, development, analysis, testing, and field support. You will work under experienced staff to ensure compliance with engineering standards and customer specifications while contributing to high-quality problem resolution.

The role requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (or related fields that are accepted) and familiarity with CAD modeling and programming concepts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering is required.
• Degrees in Physics, Engineering Technology or Engineering Science may also be accepted.
• Basic knowledge of engineering standards, techniques and criteria.
• Exposure to CAD modeling and basic programming skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform standard engineering assignments in design, development, analysis, evaluation, testing, specifications, field tasks, and quality issue resolution.
• Develop awareness of regulations, standards, and customer engineering criteria with guidance from senior staff.
• Under mentorship, evaluate and apply standard techniques and modify as needed.

What You’ll Do Day-To-Day

• Perform standard engineering assignments typically in areas of design, development, analysis, evaluation, testing, preparation of specifications, execution of field tasks, resolution of field problems, and resolution of quality events.
• Develop awareness of government regulations, organization, industry and customer engineering standards with support of senior staff.
• Under a mentor’s guidance, evaluate, select and apply standard techniques, procedures, and criteria using judgement in making minor adaptations and modifications.
