Job summary

Framatome North America is seeking a seasoned engineering professional to lead and direct mechanical and electrical projects. You will ensure timely execution, maintain standards, and collaborate with customers to deliver high-quality nuclear energy solutions.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, 5+ years of related experience, and strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of related engineering experience.
  • Strong knowledge of engineering standards, techniques and criteria.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication of technical data.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure effective performance of engineering assignments.
  • Plan and direct timely execution of engineering activities.
  • Ensure projects comply with policies, objectives and customer standards.
  • Adhere to government, organization and customer engineering standards.
  • Monitor goals and performance of team members.

  • Research and propose best practices and improvements.
  • Work on special projects as directed.

What You’ll Do Day-To-Day
  • Ensure effective performance of engineering assignments.
  • Plan and direct the timely execution of engineering activities, as assigned.
  • Ensure projects, initiatives, and processes comply with established policies, objectives and customer standards.
  • Ensure adherence to government, organization and customer engineering standards and procedures.
  • Monitor goals, objectives and standards of performance for assigned team members.
  • Work interactively with customers and clients to develop strong relationships.
  • Research and assess best practices, proposing methods and improvements.
  • Work on special projects, as directed.
  • Perform other related duties and tasks, as required.
What You'll Bring
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum of 5 years of related experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of related engineering standards, techniques and criteria.
  • Good communication skills to comprehend and convey detailed technical data.

  • Advanced proficiency with specialized software tools and programming languages as required by the role.
  • Mechatronics knowledge and experience.
  • Remote delivery systems.
  • Conventional machining, EDM, remote welding experience,
  • Nuclear background preferred.
Total Rewards Package
  • Salary: $99,000 - $134,000, and may also include annual incentives and performance bonuses. The base salary range is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
