Framatome seeks an Early Career Electrical Engineer for Site Projects Engineering in Richland, WA. You will perform design, development, analysis, testing and field tasks under supervision, while learning standards and government regulations.

Early Career Electrical Engineer – Site Projects Engineering

What You’ll Do Day‑to‑Day
  • Perform standard engineering assignments typically in areas of design, development, analysis, evaluation, testing, preparation of specifications, execution of field tasks, resolution of field problems, and resolution of quality events.
  • Develop awareness of government regulations, organization, industry and customer engineering standards with support of senior staff.
  • Under a mentor’s guidance, evaluate, select and apply standard techniques, procedures, and criteria using judgement in making minor adaptations and modifications.

Preferred Skills

  • Instrumentation & controls and/or power systems experience.
  • Design/program industrial PLCs – specifically Allen‑Bradley, but doesn’t have to be exclusive.
  • Evaluate electrical systems toward applicable electrical standards, human factors, installation/cost, and maintenance best practices.
  • Oversee field work including new installations, integration into existing systems, and troubleshooting.
What You’ll Bring
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
    • Dependent on the position, degrees in Physics, Engineering Technology, and Engineering Science may also be accepted.
  • Basic knowledge of related engineering standards, techniques and criteria.
  • Exposure to use of CAD modeling and computer programming skills.
Total Rewards Package
  • Salary: $86,000 – $91,000 and may also include annual incentives and performance bonuses. The base salary range is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
