Job summary

Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope is seeking an Estimator to support our estimating and preconstruction team on architectural construction projects. You will help with quantity takeoffs, pricing, bid preparation, and document review in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires an Associate or Bachelor’s degree in a related field and a minimum of 2 years of construction estimating experience. Proficiency in reading architectural drawings and Bluebeam Revu, plus strong Excel skills, is essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in construction-related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in construction estimating or related internship.
• Proficiency reading architectural drawings and specifications.
• Strong Excel skills for cost analysis and takeoffs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with quantity takeoffs from drawings and specs.
• Review drawings to identify scope and requirements.
• Support development of conceptual to detailed cost estimates.
• Compare vendor and subcontractor pricing.
• Enter data into estimating software and spreadsheets.
• Maintain organized project files and documentation.
• Collaborate with project managers, estimators, and sales.
