Job summary

WDP & Associates Consulting EN is seeking an Early Career Engineer/Designer to join our team of consultants in the Virginia area. You will participate in investigations, design, and construction administration across new construction and existing structures experiencing leakage, distress, or failures.

The role provides mentorship from seasoned leaders and hands-on experience throughout the project life cycle, from investigation to construction administration, with a clear pathway for career

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Architectural Engineering, Building Science, Structural Engineering, or a related field
• 0 to 4 years of related experience
• Ability to travel occasionally
• Desire to engage in hands-on field investigations
• Valid driver's license, driving history, and background verifications
• Authorization to work in the U.S. without current or future employer sponsorship

• Structural failure investigations and fieldwork
• Building enclosure evaluations and facade/roof rehabilitation
