Job summary

ENERCON Services, Inc. seeks an Electrical Engineer to join their dynamic, collaborative team in Overland Park, KS (and other offices) to design and evaluate power systems at energy facilities. You will work with multidisciplinary teams and travel to client sites as needed.

Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s or master’s in electrical engineering, start soon, and excel in writing, communication, and problem solving while adhering to industry codes and QA programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering from an accredited university.
• Available to start in 1–2 months.
• Solid working foundation with major’s core concepts.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Excellent writing, presentation, and communication skills.
• Able to work independently and in teams.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Able to climb stairs and ladders at client sites.
• Able to navigate client sites to conduct walkdowns.
• Willing to travel to client sites and project locations.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and design power systems at power-generating facilities.
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines and interfaces.
• Manage budget, scope, schedule, and quality with minimal guidance and oversight.
• Prepare error-free engineering documents per industry codes and regulations.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry codes, safety culture, and nuclear design techniques.
• Produce high-quality deliverables in line with QA programs and client expectations.
• Build relationships with clients through professional interactions and quality engineering solutions.
• Travel to plant sites to interface with client personnel and perform walkdowns.
