Job summary

Swartz Creek is seeking caring, motivated individuals to join our team for the 2026-2027 school year. The role runs Monday through Friday, 7:45am–3:45pm, providing essential classroom support and one-on-one instruction to help young learners begin their school journey.

Assist the lead teacher with prep, organize learning activities, and help maintain a positive, safe learning environment. Strong communication with teachers and parents is valued.

Responsibilities

• Assist the lead teacher with classroom preparation and organization.

• Provide one-on-one support to students who need extra help.
• Assist with setting up and cleaning up learning materials and classroom supplies.
• Monitor student safety and well-being throughout the school day.
• Record observations on student progress and report to the teacher.
• Encourage social skills and cooperation among students.
• Support students with self-care routines and independence skills.
• Assist in implementing lesson plans and educational activities.
• Communicate respectfully with students, teachers, and parents as needed.
• Participate in professional development and team meetings.
