Job summary

TELUS Health is expanding its in-person EAP counselling network across the United States. We seek licensed mental health professionals to provide confidential, short-term support to employees and families through private practice referrals.

You will join a supportive team and benefit from steady referrals, professional collaboration, and scheduling flexibility while delivering quality care in line with TELUS Health standards.

Qualifications

• Licensed Clinical Social Worker with current licensure in the United States.
• Counselling Therapist with applicable state certifications.
• Minimum 3 years post-graduate counseling experience.
• Professional Liability Insurance of at least $1,000,000 per claim and $3,000,000 aggregate.

Responsibilities

• Provide solution-focused, short-term counselling to a diverse client base.
• Assess client needs, set goals, and develop strategies within EAP coverage.
• Maintain accurate clinical records following TELUS Health standards.
• Collaborate with TELUS Health’s EAP team for seamless care.
• Adhere to professional, ethical, and confidentiality guidelines and policies.
• Stay current with best practices and engage in ongoing professional development.
• Conduct EAP counselling in person, via telehealth, or video.
• Enter clinical notes, bill, and update provider profile as required.
• Report any complaints or investigations affecting licensure promptly.

Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Counselling Therapist

We're seeking licensed mental health professionals to provide in-person EAP counselling through their private practice as we expand our reach across the United States. Our EAP program delivers confidential, short-term support to employees and their families, helping them navigate life's challenges with the guidance of compassionate professionals.

Responsibilities

• Provide solution-focused, short-term counselling to a diverse clientele facing a wide range of personal and work-related challenges.
• Assess client needs, establish goals, and develop individualized strategies within the scope of their EAP coverage.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation in alignment with TELUS Health’s clinical standards and protocols.
• Collaborate effectively with TELUS Health’s internal EAP team to ensure seamless client care.
• Adhere to professional, ethical, and confidentiality guidelines while complying with all relevant policies and regulations.
• Stay current with best practices in mental health care and actively engage in continuous professional development.
• Clinically licensed and able to practice without supervision
• ~3 or more years of post-graduate counseling experience
• ~ Professional Liability Insurance with a minimum of $1,000,000 per claim and $3,000,000 per aggregate
• Conduct EAP counseling services via in person tele, or video.
• Enter clinical notes into database, bill, and update your provider profile when required.
• Notify TELUS Health immediately of any complaints, citations, or investigations that could result in the suspension, revocation, sanction, reprimand, limitation, qualification, or termination of your license/credentials.
• Act in a professional manner with our clients and the TELUS Health team.
• Comply with all TELUS Health's policies, procedures, and guidelines outlined in our manual and in your contract.
