Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Eagle Consultant to serve as the technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Eagle STAR, Eagle PACE, Reference Data, and Pricing modules. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in investment accounting platforms, data analysis, database technologies, and application architecture. This role will focus on optimizing investment data flows, enhancing system performance, and supporting strategic technology initiatives across the investment platform ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical SME for Eagle STAR, Eagle PACE, Reference Data, and Pricing modules.

• Analyze and optimize investment data flows across multiple applications, systems, and databases.

• Design, develop, and maintain SQL Server and Oracle database solutions to support investment accounting operations.

• Review application architecture, system connectivity, and integration points within the investment platform ecosystem.

• Identify technical vulnerabilities, technical debt, and opportunities for system enhancements and modernization.

• Source and analyze data from multiple repositories, including Git, JIRA, and application inventories, to develop comprehensive architectural and technical documentation.

• Develop future-state architecture recommendations aligned with industry best practices and organizational objectives.

• Create and maintain data models, ETL processes, and reporting solutions supporting investment accounting data requirements.

• Collaborate with cross-functional business and technology teams to implement system enhancements and process improvements.

• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot complex data, application, and integration issues.

• Provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentorship to junior team members.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Data Analyst, Technical Consultant, or similar role within financial services or investment management organizations.

• Proven expertise with the Eagle Investment Accounting platform, including Eagle STAR and Eagle PACE modules.

• Advanced SQL development skills with extensive experience in both Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle database environments.

• Strong understanding of investment accounting principles, workflows, and data management requirements.

• Experience designing and supporting data architecture, ETL processes, and data warehousing solutions within financial services environments.

• Proficiency in reviewing, documenting, and analyzing application architectures and integration points.

• Demonstrated ability to identify technical debt and recommend effective remediation strategies.

• Hands-on experience with development and collaboration tools such as Git and JIRA.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills with exceptional attention to detail.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and business teams.
