Job summary

Kelly Engineering in Santa Isabel, Puerto Rico, is seeking an EACS Operations Lead for a contract position onsite to drive safety, quality, and production performance. You will partner with Program Managers to align manufacturing plans, respond rapidly to issues, and manage inventory strategies and production schedules based on demand and capacity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and a minimum of 5 years of experience.
• Experience in Quality, Operations, or Supply Management, including new product introduction.
• U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a culture of safety, quality, and compliance as a top priority.
• Leverage exceptional written and verbal communication skills, in partnership with Program Managers, to ensure effective internal and customer communication on manufacturing plans and operational performance.
• Drive rapid closure to issues as they arise, including quality, supply, and operational excellence issues.
• Partner with site operations to develop strong inventory strategies and production schedules based on demand, lead time, capacity constraints, inventory targets, and materials availability.
• Accelerate proactive efforts to anticipate and address future risks to operational performance.
• Facilitate the resolution of SRI (Supplier Request for Information) and FAI (First Article Inspection) tasks.
• Support LTB (Last Time Buy) or material substitution activities to ensure component availability.
• Provide inputs into the SIOP (Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning) process.
• Support the Product Line Teams in driving rate readiness assessments, identifying gaps, and executing action plans to maintain production capacity (labor, equipment, tooling) in alignment with long and short-term demand.

What You Will Do
