Job summary

Lockheed Martin Space is seeking an Electromagnetic Engineering Effects (E3) Engineer to join the System Engineering Special Disciplines Organization within SRP. You will learn and perform E3 analyses and support EMI testing, driving design verification and test documentation on multiple programs.

The role emphasizes on-site testing, systems thinking, and close collaboration with senior engineers to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications, while maintaining

Qualifications

• Knowledge of MIL-STD-461/464 requirements.
• Basic EMI/EMC theory and ability to apply it to design, modeling and analyses.
• Ability and willingness to perform testing work on-site.
• Willingness/eligibility to obtain/maintain a Secret clearance; US Citizenship Required

Responsibilities

• Learn and perform E3 analyses (Lightning, Shielding, HERO, EMP) and support SRP portfolios.
• Assist EMI testing logistics, develop test plans, procedures, and test reports for stakeholders.
• Convert customer needs into hardware/software requirements and system-level solutions.
• Support functional/timeline analyses, trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definitions.
