Job summary

AST SpaceMobile is seeking an End-to-End Telco Engineer to ensure service stability across satellite-to-mobile networks. You will diagnose cross-domain issues spanning satellite, RAN, core, transport, and OSS, working with NOC and managed services teams to restore and validate end-to-end connectivity.

The role requires 5–8 years in telecom operations, strong cross-domain analytics, and the ability to drive incident resolution with clear communication and rigorous RCA contributions.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of telecom operations, service assurance, NOC engineering, or network troubleshooting.
• Experience troubleshooting cross-domain issues in mobile, satellite, or hybrid telecom environments.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end telecom architecture across RAN, core, transport, OSS, and satellite systems.
• Hands-on experience analyzing KPIs, alarms, logs, and traces across multiple domains.
• Knowledge of signaling, session management, mobility, and service continuity concepts.
• Ability to reason across system boundaries rather than isolated components.

Responsibilities

• Analyze end-to-end service degradation across satellite to mobile domains.
• Correlate alarms, KPIs, logs, and timelines to define end-to-end service behavior.
• Lead multi-domain troubleshooting for complex incidents requiring cross-team coordination.
• Validate fixes ensuring full end-to-end restoration, not partial recovery.
• Coordinate with AST NOC Telco Engineers and Nokia Managed Services NOC Engineers.
• Provide incident updates to PSC Agents and stakeholders.
• Participate in major incident bridges and RCA inputs.
• Document service flows, dependencies, and known failure scenarios.
