Job summary

Infosys Limited, a global leader in digital services, seeks a Technical Consultant 2 to drive automated testing, ETL/Data Quality, and UI validation across banking/insurance domains. Bring SAP/HANA and API automation experience to design, test, and deploy robust software solutions.

You will contribute to end-to-end SDLC, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and help maintain quality through CI/CD and Azure DevOps practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required; progression allowed in lieu of education.
• Experience in ETL, data quality, validation, and data comparison testing.
• Strong Java foundation with test automation and QA lifecycle knowledge.
• Experience with Snowflake and SQL validation.
• Familiarity with SAP HANA/UI validation and API automation tools.
• Proficiency in CI/CD, Azure DevOps, Jira and Confluence.

Responsibilities

• Document business requirements and support design decisions.
• Participate in coding, integrate features, and maintain stability.
• Perform code reviews and manage code repositories.
• Design and execute test strategies; coordinate bugs and fixes.

In the assigned Job Role of Technology Consultant 2, your Area Of Responsibility will be as below:

• Contribute to the requirements elicitation process by documenting assigned parts of business requirements, in line with guidance provided
• Facilitate software application design discussions, and document design decisions to guide the technical team towards building software solutions
• Participate in coding and integrate new features or updates into existing applications, with a focus on maintaining system stability
• Conduct code reviews, do changes to the codebase and maintain code repositories
• Implement test strategies, analyse results, and coordinate bug fixes to uphold the software quality standards
• Develop user training programs, documentation, and support frameworks to ensure a smooth transition to new software applications
• Actively participate in resolving production issues and recommend preventive strategies to enhance system reliability
• Maintain detailed records of code, testing techniques, and support activities to enrich the knowledge base and assist other similar projects

• Experience in Selenium TestNG and Playwright automation frameworks.
• Experience in SAP HANA and SAP UI validation.
• Experience in API automation using Bruno and Rest Assured.
• Experience in SQL query writing and database testing.
• Experience in automation framework design and maintenance.
• Experience in CI/CD practices and integration.
• Experience in mobile automation framework implementation.
• Experience in Agile methodology and Azure DevOps.
• Experience in test strategy, test design, execution, and quality governance.
• Experience in Jira and Confluence.

Preferred Skill and Experience

• Experience in Financial and Accounting domain experience.
• Experience in database automation.
• Experience in stakeholder communication and reporting.

Additional Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
