Aether Aerospace seeks a Google Cloud Platform Engineer to design, engineer, and optimize cloud infrastructure and applications supporting DoD and national security customers. You will work with partners, product managers, and stakeholders to deliver scalable cloud solutions, analyze cost/benefit, and present recommendations.
The role requires 4+ years IT experience, DoD risk awareness, and cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

As a Google Cloud Platform Engineer, you will play a central role in designing, engineering, and optimizing the organization’s cloud computing infrastructure and applications. You will leverage modern cloud technologies and business process re‑engineering methodologies to solve complex business problems and enhance operational efficiency. In this role, you will collaborate closely with business partners, product managers, and functional owners to deliver solutions that align strategically with organizational goals. You will analyze digital and web services, rationalize complex technical information, and support decision‑making processes through detailed assessments of cost, benefit, and risk. Your work will include developing new operating models, workflows, and metrics to evaluate process performance. You will also prepare and present findings and recommendations to stakeholders across the organization. With general supervision, you will provide solutions to technical problems of moderate scope and contribute to the modernization of systems and processes.
The proposed salary range for this position is up to $93,000. There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, geographic location, education, and certifications.
