Job summary

Atlantic Casualty Insurance Company is seeking an Underwriter II to profitably underwrite general liability, property, and package accounts in the Scottsdale area. This role focuses on renewal premiums, pricing new and referred renewals, and supporting senior leadership.

You will collaborate with the CRO and Underwriting Supervisor on projects, mentor junior underwriters, and ensure adherence to underwriting standards while engaging in market intelligence activities.

Qualifications

• 4-year college degree from an accredited institution is strongly desired
• Minimum of 5-year E&S Company P&C underwriting or general agency P&C underwriting experience
• Professional designations such as CPCU, ASLI, AU or CIC are preferred

Responsibilities

• Renewal premium responsibility for a region of General Agents
• Underwrite and price new and referred renewal accounts
• Assist CRO and Underwriting Supervisor on special projects
• Assist in coverage/classification reviews or workflow changes as requested
• Maintain and monitor agency relationships for renewal business
• Gather market data and report on market activity with CRO
