Bridge Specialty Group in Morristown, NJ is seeking an Assistant Broker to review new and renewal E&S risks, determine acceptability of coverage requests, and broker risks to viable carriers. This role requires familiarity with the E&S market and may involve occasional binding authority processes.

The candidate will complete documentation for risk acceptance, collaborate on unusual coverages, and ensure filings comply with regulations while maintaining market options to optimize placements.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years' experience in a similar position.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in an insurance or accounting related discipline (Preferred).
• P&C license (Preferred).

Responsibilities

• Completes and files documentation required for risk acceptance determination.
• Collaborates with Broker with regard to unusual coverage.
• Determines amount of insurance in force on single risk or group of closely related risks.
• Verifies appropriate filings and maintains knowledge of market options.
