Cascades Tissue Group in Eau Claire, WI is seeking a qualified Electrical/Instrumentation Technician to join our team!

  • Salary for E&I Technician starting at $27.84/hr (based on skills, education, and experience).
  • Schedule:
  • Training: first shift days (6:30am – 3:00pm) (6 months to 1 year)
  • Regular: first shift days or 12-hour rotating shifts (6:30-6:30), based on seniority
  • Profit sharing plan
  • Telemedicine, Group insurance, and pension plan with company contributions
  • Employee assistance program (because we care about the physical and mental health of our people)

Responsibilities
  • Support existing and new equipment including repairs, preventive maintenance, and machine improvements
  • Perform work planning, scheduling, maintenance, and create work orders
  • Work safely, following all safety practices
  • Maintain high-quality production
  • Complete reports and records
  • Initiate or follow up on machine repairs with minimal supervision
  • Maintain a clean work area
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Degree in Automation Engineering Technology or equivalent experience
  • Ability to read and modify electrical schematics
  • Knowledge of PLCs, VFDs, Motor Controls, and HMIs
  • Knowledge of instrumentation for measurement and control of pressure, temperature, flow, and level
  • Familiar with industrial voltages
  • Knowledge of AC and DC motor circuits
  • Strong computer skills on Windows systems
  • Autonomous, proactive, safety and quality-oriented
  • Flexible for overtime and team projects
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work at heights, and perform physical tasks
  • Forklift experience preferred
