Job summary

Western Midstream in Orla, TX is seeking a maintenance professional for the Delaware Basin Operations. The role emphasizes safe, efficient operation of gas processing equipment and coordinating with multiple teams to sustain throughput and reliability.

Required are 3+ years in gas processing, strong troubleshooting skills, and knowledge of electrical principles. Candidates should be comfortable with PLC/DCS/SCADA platforms and able to pass screenings.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of relevant gas processing plant experience.
• Ability to troubleshoot control systems, components and end devices.
• Experience with computers; basic Word/Excel knowledge; SAP preferred.
• Knowledge of electrical and electronic principles.
• Familiarity with P&ID, Equipment Arrangement and Isometrics.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety for self and team; promote a safe work environment.
• Assist in daily economic optimization of operations.
• Coordinate with plant supervision, engineering, operations, and contractors.
• Maintain PLC, DCS and SCADA systems (AB ControlLogix/CompactLogix, DeltaV).
• Ensure regulatory compliance and accurate data entry in preventive programs.
• Supervise contract operations as required; optimize throughput and production.
• Maintain good housekeeping and stay updated on equipment manuals.
