Job summary

Pcgrecruit is seeking an E&I Engineer in Geismar, LA to provide services for internal and external customer needs, develop and execute site preventative maintenance, and support capital construction and maintenance activities.

Responsibilities include project management, design engineering on capital projects, control systems expertise, QA and safety program support, and collaboration with facility directors; travel to other locations as needed.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Instrument Engineering required.
Several years’ experience in chemical or petrochemical maintenance or design.
TWIC required for terminal access.
Professional Engineering license for Louisiana.
Programming experience in DCS (Foxboro I/A), PLC, and HMI.

Responsibilities

Assist in managing the facility's technical documentation and transfer of project/design drawings.
Serve as project manager or design engineer on capital projects including cost estimating and equipment specification.
Provide engineering support for servicing, repair, and maintenance of the facility and its DCS.
Recommend future expansion projects focusing on operability, safety, and maintainability.
Review changes to equipment/procedures and coordinate change processes; participate in RCA/HAZOP studies.
