Role Summary: We are looking for an Associate eDiscovery Project Manager to join to work as part of an established eDiscovery team for the fastest growing AmLaw 200 firm in America.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing litigation technology support under the supervision of senior eDiscovery Project Managers at the Firm and will play a critical role in helping clients through the entire eDiscovery process, from processing documents to running search and productions. You will work closely with internal teams, and external partners to ensure the successful execution of eDiscovery projects.

Responsibilities include assisting in organizing and maintaining Electronically Stored Information (ESI) and other litigation documents to ensure best practices and compliance with requirements for document preservation in all litigation practice group engagements and assisting with and maintaining databases to provide support to the region for all E-Discovery projects.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Data Processing: Manage the data processing phase, ensuring the efficient extraction, filtering, and indexing of data for review and analysis.
  • Quality Control: Implement quality control measures to ensure the accuracy and defensibility of all eDiscovery processes.
  • Technology Utilization: Leverage eDiscovery software and tools to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and reduce costs.
  • Legal Compliance: Stay current with eDiscovery laws, regulations, and industry best practices to ensure all projects are conducted in compliance with legal requirements.
  • Reporting: Provide regular status reports to internal teams, highlighting project milestones, challenges, and resolutions.
  • Ad Hoc: Perform additional tasks as assigned by senior eDiscovery Project Managers or the Litigation Support Practice Director at the Firm.

Skills/Abilities:

  • Bachelor’s degree, required; bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Legal Studies, Computer Science, Information Technology), is a plus
  • Strong knowledge of eDiscovery processes, technologies/software platforms (Relativity, Reveal), and best practices, a plus
  • Full cycle litigation experience, a plus
  • Legal background or certifications (e.g., Certified eDiscovery Specialist, Relativity Certified Administrator, Relativity Review Certification), a plus

  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong problem-solving, and client-facing skills
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong working knowledge of forensics and electronic discovery
  • Must maintain client confidentiality
  • Must be able to work independently, exhibit professionalism and work in a team-oriented environment
  • Must possess good judgment in making decisions and be creative in solving problems
  • Knowledge of Relativity and other litigation software, such as Concordance and LAW
  • Knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
