Job summary

Bishop Lifting Products, Inc. is seeking a remote Inside Sales specialist to own quote follow-up and close deals for Lifting.com's fastest-growing channel.

You will personally follow up on quotes, answer questions, coordinate availability and freight, and aim to convert opportunities into orders. You will nurture high-value accounts, reactivate dormant customers, and guide buyers to the right products while working with CRM and BigCommerce.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in inside sales, counter sales, or account management, ideally around industrial, construction, or technical B2B products.
• A closer's instinct with a service temperament: comfortable asking for the order, and just as comfortable giving the honest answer that keeps a customer for ten years.
• Organized enough to run dozens of open quotes without dropping one; comfortable with quoting tools, CRM, and ecommerce platforms (we run BigCommerce). Rigging or safety-product knowledge is a plus, not a requirement.

Responsibilities

• Own every significant quote (roughly $5,000 and up) from issue to outcome: follow up personally, answer questions, coordinate availability and freight, and ask for the order. Smaller quotes stay on automated follow-up.
• Track every open quote to won, lost with a reason, or dead. No more quotes expiring in silence.
• Work the dormant list: high-value customers who have gone quiet get a personal reach-out.
• Be the named, reachable human for Lifting.com's B2B and repeat customers, and protect our 4.8-star experience as volume grows.
• Spot customers who belong on account pricing and help move them onto the B2B portal; feed pricing, product, and competitor intel back to the eCommerce team.
• Learn our products and how customers use them: slings, shackles, hooks, wire rope, hoists, fall protection, rigging hardware. You don't need to arrive an expert; you need to become one, and we will train you (formal rigging fundamentals in your first six months, on us).
• Guide buyers to the right product, and know when to pull in a branch specialist or engineer.

About the Role:

Lifting.com is Bishop Lifting's fastest-growing sales channel, and it has grown past what automation alone can serve. Quotes go out every day; today no one owns following them up, and the largest ones are the most likely to go quiet. This role fixes that. You will be the person our online customers know by name: the one who calls after the quote goes out, answers the question that gets the order across the line, and wins back the account that went quiet. It is a revenue seat with a service heart, and it is the first dedicated sales role added to a $30M+ digital business.

What You'll Own:

• Spot customers who belong on account pricing and help move them onto the B2B portal; feed pricing, product, and competitor intel back to the eCommerce team.

Product knowledge:

• Learn our products and how customers use them: slings, shackles, hooks, wire rope, hoists, fall protection, rigging hardware. You don't need to arrive an expert; you need to become one, and we will train you (formal rigging fundamentals in your first six months, on us).
• Guide buyers to the right product, and know when to pull in a branch specialist or engineer.

What Success Looks Like:

• Quote conversion climbs, especially on $5,000+ quotes, where most of our quoted dollars sit. This is the number the role is built around.
• Same-business-day contact on new quotes; dormant accounts reactivated; repeat purchase rates rising.

What You Bring:
