Placements24 is seeking a skilled Project Manager to lead the development and enhancement of e-commerce platforms for growth in East London and the Eastern Cape. You will drive projects from concept to launch, coordinating marketing initiatives with backend systems and user experience improvements.

The role blends on-site collaboration with remote management, requires 6+ years in PM for digital or ecommerce, and a Bachelor's in a related field.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on e-commerce or digital platform development.
• Proven track record of successfully managing online retail projects from conception to completion.
• Strong understanding of e-commerce technologies, platforms (Shopify, Magento), and best practices.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of projects related to the development and optimization of e-commerce platforms.
• Define project scope, set objectives, and manage timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, IT, product development, and customer service, to ensure project success.
• Manage third-party vendors and technology partners involved in e-commerce platform development.
