Job summary

MIRA Safety is seeking a detail‑oriented Shopify & Amazon Merchandiser to support our e‑commerce storefronts. This part‑time role (about 20 hours/week) focuses on optimizing online presence, maintaining inventory flow, and keeping product data current across Shopify and Amazon.

You will work cross‑functionally with marketing, product, and web development teams to manage promotions, ensure accurate inventory levels, and launch new products on both platforms.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of e-commerce merchandising experience on Shopify.
• 3+ years of merchandising and new product creation on Amazon Seller Central.
• Familiarity with FBA processes and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Manage and update Shopify site content for sales, promos, and launches.
• Set up new products on Shopify and Amazon with accurate descriptions and images.
• Monitor pricing to reflect promotions and strategic changes.
• Coordinate inventory shipments to Amazon FBA warehouses when needed.
• Monitor low-stock and inventory issues in Shopify and escalate.

About the Role

We’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Shopify & Amazon Merchandiser to support our e-commerce and Amazon storefronts. This is a part-time role (approximately 20 hours/week) that plays a key part in ensuring our online presence is optimized, inventory is flowing efficiently, and product data is kept up to date across platforms.

You’ll work cross-functionally with our marketing, product and web development teams to manage promotions, maintain accurate inventory levels, and launch new products on both Shopify and Amazon. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys e-commerce operations, merchandising, and owning processes from start to finish.

Serve as the end-to-end owner of MIRA Safety’s Amazon business. Track every Amazon-related item to completion, including work executed by another person or department, and elevate blockers promptly.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and update site content on Shopify for sales, seasonal promotions, and product launches


• Set up new products on Shopify and Amazon, ensuring accurate descriptions, pricing, and imagery


• Monitor and update product pricing across platforms to reflect promotions, strategy changes, or competitive adjustments


• Coordinate inventory shipments to Amazon FBA warehouses (if not handled by Customer Service)


• Monitor and flag low-stock or inventory issues within Shopify to relevant team members


• Collaborate with the Web Development team to implement site changes, merchandising updates, or UX enhancements


• Support the ongoing improvement of our product presentation and discoverability on Amazon


• Maintain a content calendar or checklist to ensure key merchandising dates and deadlines are met


• Monitor Amazon Account Health daily and escalation violations, restricted-product flags, and policy issues the same day


• Own Amazon Seller Support cases, compliance documentation, restricted-product matters, and marketplace suspension appeals through resolution


• Own FBA replenishment planning and FBM inventory accuracy, including peak-season cutoffs, stock availability, and fulfillment-priority checks


• Review A-to-Z claims and other marketplace issues, communicate significant outcomes, and coordinate corrective action


• Maintain a single Amazon tracker and provide daily or weekly status updates covering each item’s owner, status, next action, due date, and blocker

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in e-commerce merchandising on Shopify


• 3+ years of experience in merchandising and new product creation on Amazon Seller Central


• Familiarity with FBA processes and best practices for Amazon listings


• Comfortable working cross-functionally with marketing, web dev and product teams


• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills


• Self-starter who can manage time and tasks effectively in a part-time, remote setting


• Basic understanding of SEO for e-commerce is a plus


• Hands‑on experience with Amazon Account Health, compliance requirements, Seller Support cases, restricted-product issues, and the appeals process


• Experience managing both FBA and FBM inventory and fulfillment


• Strong ownership and follow-through, including the ability to drive cross-functional work to completion without direct authority


• Experience using a project‑tracking tool such as monday.com is preferred


• Demonstrated ability to use AI tools appropriately to improve efficiency, decision‑making, and work quality

Nice to Have

• Experience with graphic tools (e.g., Canva, Photoshop) for basic image editing


• Familiarity with inventory management tools or Shopify apps


• Understanding of Amazon advertising or promotional tools
