Job summary

Goodwill of the Great Plains is hiring an E-Commerce Live-Streaming Auction Associate to host Whatnot shows, curate listings, and engage shoppers. This part-time role runs Tue/Thu 8:00–4:30 and Wed/Fri 12:00–4:30, offering a dynamic, customer-focused online sales environment.

You'll help present products on camera, manage inventory, and support the growth of our e-commerce operation while delivering engaging experiences for viewers and buyers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED preferred.
• Experience in live sales, auctioneering, retail sales, broadcasting, or customer engagement preferred.
• Ability to learn basic computer skills using MS Office and the Whatnot website.
• Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Comfortable performing live on camera for extended periods.
• Strong ability to engage audiences in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of online selling platforms, social commerce, and live-stream technology is preferred.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Host two Whatnot live-stream shows per week, approximately two hours per show.
• Curate and produce inventory listings for themed shows, including purses, clothing, toys, collectibles, and more.
• Maintain high level of care in producing inventory listings to ensure quality and accurate representation.
• Stage products for display during shows.
• Present products on camera during shows, showing and describing features, flaws, and customer-requested information.
• Depending on product type, present from behind the camera or in front of the camera in order to show items most effectively.
• Engage in friendly and professional verbal conversation in response to chat messages sent by viewers.

Position Type: Part-time Tuesday and Thursday 8-4:30pm and Wednesday and Friday 12-4:30pm

Wages: $19.21 Hourly
